Looking for All the Workouts This Weekend? Try City Fit Fest

Bay Area folks love their self care, and City Fit Fest is more than happy to oblige. On Sunday, October 20, the music festival-style fitness extravaganza returns to Marina Green for its third year.

If you’re new to the world of exercise sweat-aculars, City Fit Fest offers different stages and zones of fitness and wellness, with experiences like HIIT workouts, yoga, meditation, strength challenges, obstacles, mobility training, nutrition panels, and more. In addition to featuring some of the best coaches, teachers, and speakers from the Bay Area, the organizers are also bringing in marquis names like Olympian Alysia Montano, health coach Massy Arias, and Bret "Glute Guy" Contreras for classes and meet and greets.

General admission tickets are $53.74 (including the processing fee), but you can save $5 per ticket if you purchase two or more tickets in the same transaction. GA tickets will get you access to group classes and sessions all day, from 10 am–4 pm. If you’re going that route, don’t forget to book your spot in one of the three Barry’s Bootcamp classes in advance. If obstacle courses are your thing, head over to Epic San Francisco’s activation to compete for a free trip to Cabo. Finals for the Cabo contest are at 2 pm, so don’t skip out early.

The festival also includes a number of “level-up” add-ons, priced between $25 and $100. Level-up opportunities include a handstand workshop, a pull-up/muscle-up session, and a stretching activation. The event happens rain or shine, but let’s be real: it’s October in San Francisco. It’ll probably be glorious. Tickets remain on sale through Sunday.

Dreaming of starting your week unable to sit in your chair at work because you did too many squats on Sunday? Or maybe you’re just on the Tinder hunt for a fit AF S.O. for cuffing season? You know what to do.
