This Local Fashion Trio Is Teaming Up in San Ramon for the Holidays
A jaunty hat. A soft cashmere sweater. A traffic-stopping bag. And all from local, women-owned brands. If this sounds like everything you’ve wished for in a boutique, you need to run—not walk—to the East Bay.
Kin the Label, Frances Austen, and Future Glory are joining forces this year for a special shopping experience at City Center in San Ramon. Kin co-founders Ashley Cornil and Sara Brady have invited luxury knitwear brand Frances Austen and the leather goods artisans at Future Glory into their space for a special shop-in-shop for the holidays. Cornil and Brady tell Rockyt, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Future Glory and France Austen; two local brands, ran by women, who offer high quality, impeccably made products designed for the modern women.”
Sure, driving all the way to the East Bay for a mall may raise a few eyebrows, but City Center is one of those swanky outdoor malls that strikes the critical balance between local boutiques—including Maggie Rizer’s shop M by Maggie Rizer—and the full spread of Williams-Sonoma brands. So that drive? Totally worth it.
Kin the Label’s holiday shopping spectacular opens today, November 19. While City Center will be a permanent home for the Bay Area millinery brand, the Frances Austen and Future Glory pop-up is limited to the holidays. Scamper by City Center, (6000 Bollinger Canyon Road, 2nd floor) to see what the fuss is about.
