It’s been a hot minute since BeastWares designer Phoenix McNamara traded the East Bay for Portland, but her beloved Glitter Britches continue to cover the hiney of many a Bay Area Burner. For BeastWares devotees, we have some great news and some devastating news.

Let’s start with the greatness.

BeastWares is having a mega sale, and most remaining Glitter Britches are only $10 now. As in, one-zero. (The original price was $95.) Sizing and colors are limited, and items will not be restocked. Phoenix is also selling her remaining holographic hoodies for $65, (regularly $125).

The bad news: BeastWares is winding down. Phoenix wrote in an email to BeastWares customers, “After many wonderful years of burying myself in glitter spandex, I have finally come to admit that I no longer have the time nor inclination to make clothing full-time. I have too many new loves and passions and things to cover in glitter, so it's time to let the clothing line (mostly) go.”

While the end of BeastWares will no doubt deal a devastating blow to ravers who like to shop online, Phoenix will continue to accept one-off commissions. Dreaming of an all-new sparkle ensemble for the Burn this year? Contact her through her new website, Elsewhere.

But, for now, go buy those remaining fancy pants.
