San Francisco designer Amy Kuschel has been outfitting brides in custom dresses for 20 years, but she’s ready to make a few changes around the studio. In July, Kuschel told The Chronicle that she was winding down her bridal atelier to focus on sustainable ready-to-wear. But for all you brides dreaming of an Amy Kuschel dress from the designer herself, there’s one final chance to score a sample.

Kuschel’s “Follow Your Heart” sample sale continues on Wednesday, July 31, and for a second weekend Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3. All gowns at the sale—including the popular Lennon, Cassidy, Halston, and Venice styles—are priced from $600 to $1200. All Little White Dresses and lace toppers will be on sale for $100, and strapless bras will be $10. Shoppers who bring a yoga mat or Lego set for the kids at Edgewood get an additional $150 off the price of a gown. Most gowns are bridal size 6 or 12, but there’s a selection of 18s and 20s as well. The sale will run Wednesday from 12-8 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10 am until 6 pm at Kuschel’s Union Square studio, 23 Grant Avenue, 5th floor.

If you can’t make it to the sale, or you have no need for a wedding gown presently, don’t stress. This sale-abration marks the end of Kuschel’s custom bridal biz, but you’ll still be able to shop her ready-to-wear bridal offerings on bhldn.
