Need a Cocktail Dress on the Cheap? Try the BCBG Warehouse Sale
Yes, BCBG closed its San Francisco stores in 2017. And sure, that made stalking sale racks for a last-minute Vegas outfit or wedding guest gown a thing of the past. But the brand is still around, albeit in a low-key way. To shop BCBG in San Francisco on a regular day, you usually have to visit Bloomingdales (in Westfield San Francisco Centre) or Macy’s (in Union Square). This weekend, however, there will be two thousand discounted BCBG pieces waiting for you at Fort Mason Center.
The BCBG Warehouse Sale is back in Building C on Saturday, May 11, from 10 am–4 pm with thousands of tops, sweaters, and dresses from BCBG, Lovers & Friends, Herve Leger, and more. Inventory includes sizes 0-12—so, yeah, not inclusive— marked up to 70% off retail. Visa and MasterCard are accepted, but shoppers who pay cash will receive an additional 10% off. Admission is free, but you can gain access 30 minutes early at 9:30 am if you RSVP on Eventbrite. Large bags are not allowed inside the event, so bring that wad of cash in your itty-bitty-crossbody-mini.
If past BCBG sales are any indication of what to expect this time, plan for a sales floor without a dressing room and an early arrival. (We’ve seen the fashionably late side of this sale in the past, and it was bleak.) Register through Eventbrite for advance access—again it’s free—and be there for first dibs if you want to walk away with something good.
