You Have 2 Chances to Shop Your Favorite Bloggers' Closets This Week
Bloggers will happily share affiliate links to help you find the elements of their meticulously-planned outfits, but this week a group of San Francisco fashion folks will sell you the looks straight out of their closets.
First, on Wednesday, March 15, head to Made PR (3330 20th Street in the Mission) from 5–7pm to shop previously-loved pieces from Made founder Defne Crowe, Lonny magazine editor Angela Tafoya, and photographer-badass Anna-Alexia Basile. Stop by for a tipple, or to browse an enviable selection of jeans, jumpsuits, dresses, tops, shoes, outerwear, and more. There will be pieces from Reformation, Rachel Comey, Kowtow, Isabel Marant, Zara, Madewell, Miista, Apiece Apart, Shakuhachi, Free People, Anthropologie, Jeffrey Campbell, Swedish Hasbeens, Freda Salvador, and Lacausa, just to name a few.
On Saturday, March 18, you'll have a second shot of building your blogger closet from 1–5pm at Femme Fair, an Insta-worthy party and shopping experience at Awake (444 8th Street). Browse a selection from Advice From a 20 Something's Amanda Holstein, Carlina Harris from Allergic to Vanilla, Alyssa Nicole, Closet Luxe's Christina Chinn, Melissa San Vincent of MELSANV, Eda Semana from Luxe & Linen, Sarah Tripp from Sassy Red Lipstick, Stacey Ann De León of Stacey Ann Loves, Stylenik's Kristen Philipkoski, and The Beauty Vanity's Alyson Alconis. Clothing will be sizes 00-14 & XXS-XL, and shoes will be sizes 5.5-9.
In addition to the blogger-garage-sale offerings, the event will include pop-up shops for Cuyana, Alyssa Nicole, Katie Dean Jewelry, Claranlilly, and Bloomsgiving, nibbles (including Three Twins ice cream), an Aperol Spritz bar from Campari, a braid bar, a DJ, a raffle, and more. (Honestly, I could go on and on about this one, but I'm kinda tired of linking.)
Tickets for Femme Fair are $15, and must be purchased in advance through Eventbrite. Once you're there, you can shop with your credit card, but not cash. The first 10 attendees will receive a $300+ swag bag, and a portion of event proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood.
If you've ever wanted to dress exactly like a blogger or editor, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
