Bryr's Sample Sale Returns Saturday With More Clogs Than Ever
Bryr is unloading its back-clog of shoes on Saturday, October 26 with its annual sample sale in the Dogpatch. The sale starts at 10 am and ends at 4 pm, or when they run out of clogs—whichever comes first.
The local clog-maker will be offering styles at 20–70 percent discounts for one day only at a new location, 2455 3rd Street. (That's just down the street from the regular Bryr studio.)
How many clogs are up for grabs? Great question! And Bryr isn’t sharing the answer. But the company says it has more clogs this year than ever before, and will start “with clogs in every size” and post on social media when sizes run out. Inside the sale, clogs will be sorted by US sizes, and then by color. There’s a three-pair limit on purchases before noon, but all bets are off for the final four hours. You can pay with plastic, Apple Pay, or Bryr gift cards, but staffers will not be taking cash.
Pricing for the sale varies according to the item class. Perfect clogs from inventory will be 20 percent off, minor imperfections, seconds, and shop samples are 30 percent off, shoes with cosmetic irregularities are 40 percent off, and more significant irregularities are 60 percent off. You can also score gently-worn clogs for 70 percent off. All proceeds from the worn clog sales will go to Pawsitive Change Program and Caravana Canina. (You can donate gently used BRYR clogs—and get $20 in Bryr-cash—by dropping them off at the studio, 2331 3rd Street, before October 25.) Fun fact: last year, Bryr raised more than $8,000 for charity at its sample sale.
Wanna be that person who wears all locally-made clogs, all the time? Then block off your calendar for October 26. The line tends to start early, so consider showing up to watch the sunrise if you have your heart set on hitting that pre-noon three-pair limit. Bryr will have coffee and bagels for the line, and a cash bar inside to keep you fueled through the clog-shopping frenzy. For more updates on the sale, we highly recommend following Bryr on Instagram and checking their stories like it’s your job.
