This Local Jewelry Designer's Home Has the Vogue Stamp of Approval
Emily P Wheeler is having a #blessed summer. In addition to seeing pieces from her fine jewelry collection make the celebrity rounds on red carpets and talk shows, her work got all the love in the July issue of Elle. (Yes, that was Emily's signet ring design that Kate McKinnon wore throughout her cover shoot and her black diamond baby platform ring that Black Girls Code founder Kimberly Bryant wore in the same issue.) Wheeler's latest coup is a photo feature about her stunning Inner Richmond home on Vogue.com, shot by San Francisco photographer Jen Kay.
Vogue describes the home, which Wheeler designed with interior designer Louise Copeland, as "A cozy, contemporary home filled with custom-built California furniture, artworks created by family and friends, and vintage finds." The four-bedroom house is filled with light, color, and a handsome dog named Leon, plus it has a backyard.
Honestly, I can't decide which of the spaces in Casa Wheeler I like best, and I had to give up trying because I needed to move on with life. (It's a toss up between the dining porch, the staircase, the powder room, and Emily's closet.) Check out the feature here and choose your favorite from the Pinterest-worthy tour.
