Femme Fair Is Coming Back With Even More Fashion and Girl Power
Real talk. Fashion bloggers receive tons of free stuff. And they buy tons of stuff. After all, it takes a lot of clothes, shoes, and accessories to fill an active Instagram feed. But keeping those pieces doesn't make sense when you think about San Francisco property values. Occasionally, folks have to clear out their closets. On Saturday, April 21, more than a dozen of the most stylish women in the Bay Area will be doing just that—and supporting the Global Fund for Women in the process, at Femme Fair.
Organizers Stacey De Leon, Melissa San Vincente, and Christina Chinn say they created Femme Fair to inspire and uplift women in the community. Last year’s inaugural festivities included drinks, snacks, photo stations, beauty treatments, and a major blogger fashion sale. This year, you can expect more of the same with even more bloggers participating at the new Peerspace location, 470 Alabama Street. General admission tickets ($35) give you access to the DHC skincare lounge, a Stylebee glam squad, DIY floral arrangements with Le Bouquet, and all-you-can-drink Anna Sparkling and Windsor Vineyards wine. (Sorry, kiddos: this event is 21+ only.) If you wanna splurge for VIP tickets ($100), you'll get all the GA perks, plus early access, breakfast and lunch, a swag bag, a professional headshot, and the chance to participate in a bosslady breakout panel during lunch.
Now let's talk about the shopping sitch. Think of Femme Fair as a consignment store curated by your favorite local bloggers and influencers. Last year, practically everything was in pristine condition and many pieces had their original tags. Plus, each blogger designs her own space within the fair, so it feels more like walking through stylish booths at West Coast Craft rather than sad racks at a warehouse sale. This year's participants will be selling clothing in sizes 0-28 and XXS-XXL , as well as shoe sizes 5.5-9 will be available. You can pay with credit or debit cards, but not cash.
Can't wait to do a lil' resale shopping while 'gramming, mark your calendar for April 21 and get your Femme Fair tickets here.
