9 Local Designers Are Teaming Up for an Indie Sample Sale

Just so you know, there are nine—count 'em nine!—local designers who would love to see you for some shopping at the Ruby in the Mission on August 24.

The sale will feature pieces from Jenny Lemons, Woll Jewelry, Nettle Studios, Take Shape Studio, Aliya Wanek, Pali Swim, Hannah Emile, Alorna, and Happy French Gang. Inventory will include designer samples, one-of-a-kind items, and discontinued styles from badass female designers from the Bay Area, all 40-80% off. All of the participating brands are ethical, sustainable and locally produced.

Jenny Lemons designer Jennie Lennick says, “I am passionate about creating opportunities for local artists to showcase and sell their work. This is a great way to provide much needed income to small designers who constantly face cash-flow problems.”

The sale runs from 12 pm–4 pm on Saturday, August 24. To get the precise location, you'll have to register on Eventbrite. (That's how events at the Ruby roll.) Admission is free, but bring cash or a credit card to buy all the lovely things.
