Most wax studios will hook you up with a glass of champagne before your appointment to take the edge off the awkwardness of waxing your ladybits. For those of you who actually heed the warnings that you shouldn't drink alcohol before waxing—booze is a blood thinner and it can make waxing more painfulLa Tira Wax Studio's newest location in the Mission is also offering La Croix with treatments.

Oh yeah, and the important part: there's a new La Tira in the Mission!

The studio, located at 2408 Folsom Street (at 20th), just opened last week, offering the same menu of services that earned La Tira top waxing honors in San Francisco magazine's Best of SF awards this year. Prices are reasonable, (Brazilians are $62 for the ladies, and $95 for the fellas), and the studio offers a 10 percent discount if you return for a follow-up wax at La Tira within five weeks. With the five-week maintenance discount, the women's Brazilian comes down to $55.80, or $49.60 if you pay in cash. Every little bit helps, right?

But back to that La Croix.

At the Noe Valley studio, you can score everyone's favorite hipster water just for showing up for your appointment. At the new Mission location, you'll need to check in on Yelp to earn your can of Pamplemousse. Hey, it's a new business, and they're trying to spread the word. Give 'em a break.

La Tira Wax Studio at 2408 Mission Street is open from 10am–8 pm, Monday–Thursday, 10am–7:30pm Friday, and 10am–5pm Saturday and Sunday.
