Find a Taste of Tunisia in Russian Hill This Weekend
After the success of the Made in: Mexico pop in July, Baana is once again opening its doors to the international design world with a Made In: Tunisia event this weekend.
The five-day pop-up experience features fashion and design from Tunisia’s creatives like Akam, Anissa Aida, Artisans Solidaire Kasserine, Baboucheschacha, Fakher Baklouti, Flaÿou, Les Trois Chameaux, Lyoum, Moka Cioccolatah, My Little Bagatelle, l’ODAÏTÈS Apothicaire des sense, Mes Confits, and Soukra. Try on Anissa Aida’s newest collection of clothing and bags before it’s featured on Soukra.co, taste Tunisian treats, sip Tunisian wine (cultivated in Tunisia for over 2,000 years), and explore textiles and objects that you’ll rarely find on the regular in the Bay Area.
The pop-up started on Wednesday, and shopping will continue from 11am—7pm Thursday-Saturday, (October 11-13) and 11am—3pm on Sunday, October 14. Baana is located at 1256 Mason Street, near the cable car line.
