Let's Get Ready to Rumble, San Francisco
Indoor cycling met its bougie match at SoulCycle and Flywheel. Bootcamp got a high-end upgrade at Barry's. Now Rumble is bringing the premium class experience to boxing.
If you haven't heard of this 50-minute workout, that's probably because it only exists in New York at the moment. (Two locations: Chelsea and Noho.) Half bag-work and half cardio and weights, Rumble combines club-lighting with HIIT interval training. Founders include former Barry's master trainer Noah Neiman and Eugene Remm, who Forbes described as a king of New York nightlife.
This team definitely knows how to deliver a killer workout in a world-class hospitality setting, and in 2018, you'll be able to enjoy that pairing in the Bay Area.
Rumble is expanding to the Best Coast come spring, and has set its sights on San Francisco and Los Angeles. Details remain top-secret at the moment, but a staffer confirms via email that Rumble will be moving into the Financial District, and classes could begin as early as Spring 2018.
Classes at the NYC locations are $34 each, with discounts for class packages, but I would be shocked if Rumble didn't make like Soul and Barry's and knock $2 off for the Cali fitness adjustment. (San Francisco may be the most expensive city in America, but fitness is cheaper here.)
