Titika Active Stakes Its Claim on San Francisco

You know Canadians can design activewear—a certain Vancouver-based leggings company is proof of that fact. But now another friendly neighbor from the north wants to get its pants on your butt. Meet Titika Active Couture.

Ontario's Titika just opened its first US store in the former Covet space in Cow Hollow (2042 Union Street), joining workout apparel neighbors Nike, Lululemon, Lorna Jane, Lucy, and (soon) Sweaty Betty in what has turned into a women's activewear corridor. The brand specializes in affordable, transitional activewear you could arguably wear from brunch to yoga. Leggings are priced between $60 and $98, sports bras are $36-$68, and tanks are $28-$68. Much like the other gym clothes shops in town, Titika is offering free, in-store fitness classes, as well.

Titika's design team definitely likes cut outs and sheer panels—Exhbit A: these pants—so keep this brand in mind if you're looking to add some sex appeal to your sweats.
