Trish Lee Bids Her Atelier Farewell With a Massive Bridal Sample Sale
Trish Lee is winding down her namesake bridal design business, but there's no need to panic—she has a new gig in the wedding industry and she's saying goodbye to her shop with a huge bridal sample sale.
Lee's Bye, Bye, Baby sale starts Tuesday, July 3 and continues through Saturday, July 14. She's offering her remaining stock for 40-80 percent off her usual $2K-$5K retail prices. Schedule an appointment to check out the dresses, including the ever-popular Tulip, Marie, and Aster styles.
While the door to Trish Lee's solo office may be closing, she announced yesterday that she's joining local bridalwear startup Anomalie as the Chief Design Officer. It's more than just a new title for Lee. Anomalie actually acquired Trish Lee Bridal to bring her on board. Anomalie explains that Lee will be bringing her team, patterns, and processes to the startup.
We're big Anomalie fans here at Rockyt. The company creates stunning custom bridal gowns at a fraction of traditional retail costs, and it's the fastest growing direct-to-consumer wedding dress company in the U.S. (It's also been raising funding from the same VCs who funded Stitch Fix, Everlane, Glossier and Warby Parker; could there be an Anomalie IPO in the future?) Between Lee's design chops and Anomalie's budget-friendly pricing, this team is going to shake up the bridal world.
