Prepare to Meet Your Makers at West Coast Craft
West Coast Craft returns to the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion this weekend, June 8-9, and it's the perfect opportunity to find cool new things when you need a break from all the sunshine and gorgeousness that’s happening this weekend. As always, attendance is free and open to the public, and you don't even need cash. Vendors throughout the market accept credit cards, (though you might be able to negotiate a cash discount if you decide to roll up with stacks.)
WCC is a must-see because it's a juried (read: selective) exhibition of more than 275 artists, designers, and small boutiques. Booths are a mix of actual artisans and shopkeepers, so it's a great opportunity to meet the folks creating your new favorite things. This weekend's vendors will include established, local brands you know and love, like Freda Salvador and Future Glory, as well as up-and-comers that should be on your radar.
WCC is open for business from 10 am–6 pm both days. Add it to your calendar, stat.
