It's a Christmas Miracle! Barry's Expanding for FiDi Hard Fans
In the two-and-a-half years since Barry's Bootcamp opened in SoMa, Barry's mania has swept San Francisco. Each week, there are more devotees celebrating their 100th, 200th, and 300th classes. (And at $32 per class—discounts available for multi-class packs—the folks behind the studios are certainly celebrating too.) The good news for those of you who can't sneak away from FiDi mid-day to get your fix? Barry's is coming for ya.
For the uninitiated, Barry's is a 60-minute workout, split between treadmill cardio intervals and strength training with weights and bands. The studios, located on King Street (across from AT&T Park) and Lombard Street (in the Marina), offer towel service, fully-stocked locker rooms with Malin + Goetz products, a smoothie bar, and the customary chichi workout schwag. But the new FiDi location, opening in Spring 2017, will have a few additional tricks up its sleeve, like 50-minute “power breakfast and power lunch” classes in the mornings and early afternoons. (Marina and SoMa crews, you're SOL for now: the 50-minute classes are at FiDi only.)
The FiDi studio will be at 333 Bush Street, just two blocks from the Montgomery BART station, and it will have the largest locker rooms of any Barry’s in the city. If you've ever tried to shower after 6 or 7 am classes in SoMa, the super-sized locker rooms might be the best news of all.
For you busy FiDi workers bees who really want to dream big, consider this: Drybar, which opens at 7 am, is only 2 blocks away from the incoming studio. Barry's + Blowout? Sounds like a helluva way to start the day.
