The Allbirds Jackson Square Pop-Up Is Flying the Coop
Allbirds, the San Francisco company that makes ultra-comfortable wool runners, has been nesting at the Shinola store in Jackson Square (53 Hotaling Place) since September, but the pop-up is coming to a close. According to the brand's website, your last day to shop IRL in the city is January 31.
If your Allbirds-obsessed friends haven't already shared all the talking points on these shoes, allow me to summarize. They're crazy cozy, machine washable, and designed to minimize stinky shoe syndrome. (If your Allbirds start to reek, you can give them new life with new insoles.) And, at $95, these are totally affordable kicks.
I have yet to meet an Allbirds owner who isn't an Allbirds evangelist, so if you're looking for ways to meet new folks, stop by the Jackson Square pop-up and buy a pair. Soon you, too, will be accosting strangers to tell them about your amazing shoes.
Even if you miss the pop-up, you can still order the popular sneaks online, as nature intended.
