What You'll Find at the Amour Vert Warehouse Sale

On the hunt for a whole lotta silk for summer? Sustainable fashion brand Amour Vert is holding a warehouse sale through Sunday, April 9, at 235 Valencia, and they've got oodles of their dreamy tops and dresses available for less than $100.

I stopped by to scope out the scene around 5pm on Thursday. There were only a few shoppers in the space at the time, but the crowd was starting to pick up. (For a more peaceful shopping experience, drop by during traditional work hours.) Tops are your best bet for this sale. There are five racks of tops and shirts, four racks of dresses, one rack with pants and skirts, and a table with striped tees and sweaters. I noticed the sleeves felt tight on the sweaters, and I overheard a staffer confirming the sleeve issue, so be sure to try before you buy. There are multiple dressing room tents, and a large mirror, so you can check how everything fits.

The sale runs April 6–7 from 11am-7pm, April 8 from 1 am–5pm, and April 9 from 12pm–5pm. Prices start at $10 for knit tanks and jewelry, and go up to $150 for leather jackets. Silk tanks are $30, silk tops are $40, and silk dresses are $50. It pays to buy in bulk because you can get 10 items for $300 dollars. The complete price list is below.

Shoes and leather jackets will probably be gone before the sale closes on Thursday, but everything else will be replenished through the weekend. Shop early. Shop often. And let me know what you find!
