Can Union Square Handle Throngs of Kylie Cosmetics Fans?
This much we know to be true about the Kar-Jenners: wherever they go, crowds will follow. So when we discovered—on Instagram, of course—that Kylie Cosmetics is coming to San Francisco, we said a quick prayer for the city's retail epicenter.
Regardless of whether you keep up with the Kardashians, it's hard to deny that Kylie Jenner's makeup biz has been a runaway success. This is a two-year-old company helmed by a 20-year-old, and it's on track to become a billion dollar brand. (The company did $420 million in its first 18 months.) There were masses of fans at the first Kylie pop-up in SoCal, as well as the NYC pop-up last year, so it's safe to assume that the lines will be insane for the San Francisco shop as well.
The pop-up opens at 23 Grant Avenue, next to the Museum of Ice Cream, on Friday, May 18. While there was no official announcement on the Kylie Cosmetics website or social channels as of Wednesday, Jenner has started teasing the location on her personal Twitter account.
For a guaranteed shot at a Lip Kit, you should probably be in queue right now. Rockyt has contacted Kylie Cosmetics for more details. We'll share them as soon as they're available.
