Who Wants to Drink and Shop... at the Same Time?

Some people will tell you that you can only combine drinking and shopping in the comfort of your home. I say those people need to dream bigger. And it seems that the fine folks at Modernist agree with me because this week, they're hosting three of the Bay Area's badass women-owned brands for a pop-up shopping experience.

On Wednesday, March 8, from 7–10 pm, join Atelier Prélude, Evgenia Lingerie, and Gouya & Shannon for an International Women's Day edition of the private cocktail club's "Good People" spotlight series. Open to both members and non-members, this is a chance to make new friends while bonding over cashmere, lingerie, jewelry, and booze. (If that's not a recipe for lasting friendship, I don't know what is.)

To snag a spot at the event, email bonjour@atelierprelude.com with your name and any guests' names. Modernist is located at 139 Steuart Street in the Financial District, and the door code for the night will be 8039#. 

It's not every day that you get to sip on exceptional cocktails—my last drink there was a smokey number complete with real smoke—while picking up pretty new things. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.
