It’s Day 3 of the San Francisco Quarantine, and—in case the calendar no longer has meaning for you—it’s a Thursday. That’s important because tomorrow, Friday, March 20, the clog goddesses at Bryr will be blessing the internet with their first-ever online sample sale. And it’s shaping up to be a doozy.

Bryr founder and designer Isobel Schofield announced the sale on Instagram this morning, but it’s not purely sunshine and rainbows-hued clogs: this sale can help a business that is wholly operated in San Francisco stay afloat during a tough time. (Bryr designs, manufactures, and runs all its operations out of a studio in the Dogpatch.)

Schofield noted that, while the company supports the city shutdown and is complying with the lockdown order, closing retail and manufacturing for three weeks is a big hit to the bottom line. “To help our business stay healthy and provide for our team, we have decided to launch this impromptu sample sale… We are combining our online seconds sale with our instant gratification perfect clogs. It's the first time we have ever offered perfect clogs at a discount,” Schofield wrote.

All clogs—whether seconds or perfect condition—are final sale, so you should do your research before you start buying. Bryr has Q&As about sample sale items on its FAQs page, and you can find size up/down recommendations on the same page as the sizing chart. If you have questions beyond what’s covered there, email the Bryr team at hello@bryrstudio.com.

The sample sale will go live on a dedicated sample sale page on Friday, March 20, at 8:30 am PDT. Sure, you’re working from home right now, but this is a damn good reason to set your alarm and wake up early.

“If you've been thinking about getting some of our clogs and you're able to shop, we hope you decide this is the time,” Schofield adds. “Every dollar you spend goes towards keeping Bryr a thriving and healthy business.”
