Amour Vert has a reputation for carefully contemplating the ecological impact of each step of its supply chain, (from fabrics all the way to delivery trucks), so it's no surprise that the company's exclusive denim collection with AGOLDE is the pinnacle of eco-chic. The line features three basic jeans styles in a variety of washes, priced between $158 and $198. (You can check out the designs below.) Plus, it's made in L.A. in a vertically-integrated denim production facility from 100 percent organic and recycled cotton.

While the standard denim dying and production process is bad for denim workers and the environment, AGOLDE x Amour Vert uses lasers for its washes and finishes, reducing the number of wash cycles and water needed for classic denim finishes. (Yes, your typical denim "washes" are the result of actual washing.) The AGOLDE factory also employs an ozone wash technology that uses a combination of electricity and gas to give denim a vintage look. This process consumes less than one-tenth of the water that is traditionally used in denim production.

Amour Vert is celebrating the denim range launch with a party on Friday, March 2. Head over to the Amour Vert store in the Marina (2110 Chestnut Street) from 4-8 pm for include bubbles, bites and live denim customization by LA-based artist, Buckley. Tricked-out denim can take a while, so the store can't guarantee that everyone who shops will get artified jeans. (No, that's not a real word, but it should be.) If you want the Buckley x AGOLDE x Amour Vert jeans, make sure you arrive early for the fashion festivities.
